You made me smile

You made me smile
You made me cry
And if I had a heart
For you I would have cried
If I had a hand
To make my mistakes
I would probably cry
For someone else

And then it would take
Some time
To heal
And maybe it would all
Still have me in my dreams
To say
That we were made

I’m sitting here
Looking in your eyes and
You’re standing there
With your hands out
Like a little piece of ice
And now I
Trying to live my life in vain
And you
I’m wishing that

And then you
Cause you made me smile
You made me cry
And if I had a heart
For you I would have cried

To make my mistakes

I’m feeling kind of lonely
It seems
I’m in a bad mood
And I’m hoping for a friend
To help me out
And try to understand
Why you say
You’re sad
But you think
That the world
Is just for me
And that it is you

And how
I feel for you that we
Are made for
Each other
I feel that we are made
For each other
There are times
That
I’m wishing
That somehow
I might be in time
For you
